How the predictions work
What stays and what leaves comes from the end date Epic puts on each offer. Every date held in October 2026, nearly 10,000 offers checked against the next day's shop.
What returns is an estimate. We look at how long each item is usually gone, how often it has been back this year, whether it was on sale around this date in earlier years, and whether the items it usually returns with have just come back. Each of those was measured against the shop's record since 2017 rather than guessed.
Nobody outside Epic knows what returns on a given day, so read these as odds and not as a list. We tested the method on 225 days it hadn't seen, from March to October 2026: 18% of its top 20 were back within a week, three times the rate of picking items whose wait has reached their average, and 3% were back the very next day.

What stays and leaves is as reliable as Epic's own dates, which held for every offer we checked in October 2026. Returns are much harder: our top picks return within a week about one time in six, about three times as often as picking by average wait. The chance on each item says how sure we are.
Can you see new Fortnite skins before they're in the shop?
Not here. These predictions only cover items that have been sold before, since they work from each item's time in the shop. A brand-new item has no record to go on.
