Fortnite's Universal Monsters Are Back After 1,441 Days

Fortnite's Universal Monsters set returned to the Item Shop on October 12, 2026. Our shop history last recorded it on November 2, 2022, which makes this its first appearance in 1,441 days. The three outfits cost 1,200 V-Bucks each, and every item in the set is marked to leave on October 16.

The outfits

Frankenstein's Monster, The Mummy and Frankenstein's Bride are all Rare outfits at 1,200 V-Bucks, the same price they have always carried in our records.

The Mummy Bundle saves 600 V-Bucks

The Mummy Bundle is 1,600 V-Bucks. It includes The Mummy outfit, the Ancient Staff pickaxe and the Mummified wrap, which come to 2,200 V-Bucks bought one at a time. If you want the outfit and either of the other two pieces, the bundle is the cheaper route.

Pickaxes and wraps

The rest of the set is sold separately: the Grave Robber and Ancient Staff pickaxes at 500 V-Bucks each, the Mummified wrap at 500 and the Stitched Up wrap at 300.

Why the gap matters

The set arrived across October 2021: Frankenstein's Monster first on October 6, The Mummy on October 23 and Frankenstein's Bride on October 30. It came back in February 2022 and twice in late October 2022, then left on November 2, 2022 and sat out the next three Halloweens.

Before that break, these items were usually away for four to six months at a time. Nothing in the shop says when they will next return, so anyone who has been waiting since 2022 has four days: the listings end on October 16.

They share today's shop with a large Halloween line-up. Everything new is on the shop page.
